Event Description
Learn the basics of knitting at the library! Bring knitting needles and yarn if you have some. No experience required.
This program is intended for adults. A separate session for teens is available.
Limited supplies will be provided for use during the program; if you have your own straight needles and yarn, bring them!
This program has two dates. You may attend either or both.
-February 11 will teach casting on, the knit stitch (with the garter stitch), and casting off.
-February 25 will teach casting on, the purl stitch, and casting off. Participants from the first class may also learn the stockinette stitch.
