Event Description
The National Society Daughters of the American Revolution was founded in 1890 to preserve the memory and spirit of those who contributed to securing American independence and the memory of all patriots who fought for America’s freedom.
Anyone can access the free DAR Genealogical Research System (www.dar.org/GRS ) which is a database of information and family trees, amassed by the group, about patriot ancestors. Theresa will explain how to find, search and use the records in this database for genealogical research. DAR is a nonprofit, nonpolitical women’s service organization with more than 185,000 members in approximately.
Theresa Green, Indiana Daughters of the American Revolution State Registrar, will be our guest speaker.
Join us in person or through ZOOM.
